50 years ago Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson projected the first version of Dungeons&Dragons, since then millions of fans of this role-playing game have enjoyed of hours of game full of magic, fantasy and illusion, becoming the first release of this genre. Since the first version, several films, magazines, series and even books have emerged based on this medieval-inspired narrative that have made this original role-playing game perpetuate over the years, taking it to the big screens in 2023 for the last time with “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”. To celebrate this anniversary Wizards of the Coast has prepared two books: 1) Vecna: Eve of Ruin: Of special interest due to the character’s appearance in the well-known Netflix series, Stranger Things. In this story that will be released in May, players will be enlisted by 3 wizards who will inform them of Vecna’s intention to dominate all of D&D universe. 2) Quests From The Infinite Staircase will be released in mid-July and is made up of 6 classic stories from the D&D.
